Adrian Morris-Thomas grew up in an artistic household in Greenwich, South East London, where his mother and sister were both painters.
For over 30 years, Adrian has produced a rich, diverse and ever growing body of work influenced by his magpie eye, artists of the 20th century and the pop era that he grew up in. At the heart of it all is painting but each discipline, collage, screen-printing, relief painting and painting, informs the other and often inspires the next piece. The ideas keep coming.
In 1988 he set up Framework Picture Framing and Art Hub Studios in Deptford.
Art Hub CIC now houses over 150 creative members across two sites in Deptford and Woolwich. Studios and facilities for printmaking, carpentry and ceramics are based at the Woolwich site, while studios and a gallery in Deptford. They also run a range of educational projects and workshops in the community.
